महत्वपूर्ण नोट्स - भारतीय भूगोल

🔰 लक्षद्वीप भारत का सबसे छोटा (32 वर्ग किमी।) केंद्र शासित प्रदेश है। लक्षद्वीप की राजधानी कावारत्ती है। यह क्षेत्र केरल उच्च न्यायालय के अधिकार क्षेत्र का एक हिस्सा है।

🔰 भारत के कोरल रिजर्व में महात्मा गांधी मरीन नेशनल पार्क, रानीजैंसी मरीन नेशनल पार्क, कच्छ मरीन नेशनल पार्क की खाड़ी, मन्नार बायोस्फीयर रिजर्व की खाड़ी हैं।

🔰 कर्नाटक राज्य में स्थित प्रसिद्ध समुद्र तट हैं पनाम्बुर बीच, करवार बीच, मालपे बीच, मारवाँठे बीच, तनिरुभवी बीच, सोमेश्वर बीच।

🔰 मन्नार की खाड़ी भारत और श्रीलंका को अलग करती है। तूतीकोरिन बंदरगाह इसके पास स्थित है। यह भारत का पहला समुद्री बायोस्फीयर रिजर्व है। मन्नार द्वीप मन्नार की खाड़ी के उत्तर-पूर्व में स्थित है।

🔰 कैंपबेल बे ग्रेट निकोबार द्वीप में स्थित है। भारत का सबसे दक्षिणी बिंदु, इंदिरा पॉइंट यहाँ स्थित है।

🔰 नर्मदा, जिसे रीवा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, मध्य भारत की एक नदी है और भारत की पाँचवीं सबसे लंबी नदी है। यह गोदावरी और कृष्णा के बाद पूरी तरह से भारत के भीतर बहने वाली नदियों में से तीसरे स्थान पर है।

🔰 गंडक नदी भारत में गंगा की एक बाएं किनारे की सहायक नदी है।

🔰 सिंधु नदी की दाहिनी तट की सहायक नदियाँ श्योक, गिलगित, काबुल, गोमल, कुर्रम हैं।

🔰 कावेरी (765 किमी) नदी को पवित्रता की दृष्टि से अक्सर दक्षिण की गंगा माना जाता है। शिवनसमुद्रम जलप्रपात कावेरी नदी पर स्थित है।

🔰 सर्दियों के मौसम के दौरान तापमान -40 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक गिर जाता है। मध्य एशियाई पठार से हवा चलती है। साल में कम से कम पांच से छह महीने बर्फबारी होती है। अप्रत्याशित और बेमौसम बर्फबारी से फसलों और वनस्पति और इमारतों और स्थापत्य स्मारकों को नुकसान होता है।

🔰 Lakshadweep is the smallest (32 sq. km.) union territory of India. The capital of Lakshadweep is Kavaratti. The region is a part of the jurisdiction of the High Court of Kerala.

🔰 The coral reserves of India are Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, RaniJansi Marine National Park, Gulf of Kutch Marine National Park, Gulf of Mannar biosphere reserve.

🔰 The famous beaches located in the state of Karnataka are Panambur Beach, Karwar Beach, Malpe Beach, Maravanthe Beach, Tannirubhavi Beach, Someshwar Beach.

🔰 Gulf of Mannar separates India & Srilanka. The Tuticorin port is located near it. It is the first marine Biosphere Reserve of India. Mannar Island is located to the North-east of the Gulf of Mannar.

🔰 Campbell Bay is located in Great Nicobar island. The southernmost point of India, Indira Point is located here.

🔰 The Narmada, also known as the Rewa, is a river in central India and the fifth-longest river of India. It ranked third among the rivers that flows entirely within India, after the Godavari and the Krishna.

🔰 The Gandak River is a left-bank tributary of the Ganges in India.

🔰 The right bank tributaries of Indus river are Shyok, Gilgit, Kabul, Gomal, Kurram.

🔰 Kaveri (765 km) river is often considered as the Ganga of the south in terms of holiness. The Shivanasamudram Falls is situated on the Kaveri River.

🔰 During the winter season the temperature falls even -40° C. Wind blows from the Central Asian plateau. Snowfall occurs at least five to six months of the year. The unpredictable and untimely snowfall leads to the damage of crops and vegetation and the buildings and architectural monuments.
