🦆 प्रत्येक वर्ष 25 अप्रैल को मनाए जाने वाले इस दिवस का उद्देश्य, इस रोग के नियंत्रण हेतु किए जा रहे वैश्विक प्रयासों को जानना तथा उन्हें प्रोत्साहित करते हुए आवश्यकतानुसार उनमें सुधार करना हैं।
✍🏻 कारण :
'प्रोटोजुअन प्लाज्मोडियम' नामक परजीवी से होने वाला यह रोग अपने संवाहक मादा एनाफिलीज मच्छर की मदद से एक व्यक्ति से दूसरे व्यक्ति तक फैलता है।
विश्व मलेरिया दिवस उन आधिकारिक वैश्विक सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अभियानों में से एक हैं जिसे विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) द्वारा चिन्हित किया गया है।
💁🏻♀ प्रारम्भ :
2007 में विश्व स्वास्थ्य सभा के 60 वें सत्र के दौरान विश्व मलेरिया दिवस की स्थापना की गई थी।
इससे पूर्व 25 अप्रैल, 2001 में यह अफ्रीका मलेरिया दिवस के रूप में था, जिसे एक ऐतिहासिक घोषणा में 44 मलेरिया ग्रसित देशों ने अफ्रीकी शिखर सम्मेलन के दौरान हस्ताक्षर कर विश्व मलेरिया दिवस के रूप में स्वीकार करने हेतु सहमती जतायी थी।
ताकि, दुनिया भर के देशों में मलेरिया के अस्तित्व की पहचान करने और लोगों में जागरूकता लाकर इस रोग से विश्व स्तर पर लड़ने का प्रयास किया जा सके।

World Malaria Day
✅Dr. Harsh Vardhan chaired the "Reaching Zero" forum on malaria elimination to celebrate World Malaria Day.
✅Every year, 25th April is observed as 'World Malaria Day ' This year's theme for the day is "Reaching the Zero Malaria target
✅The day was established by the 60th session of the World Health Assembly to educate people and make them understand this disease.
✅Malaria is caused by the Plasmodium parasite.
✅This parasite spreads to the blood vessels of human bodies through the bite of female anopheles mosquitoes known as malaria vectors
✅Only five types of plasmodium parasites cause malaria, namely Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium vivax, P ovale, Plasmodium malariae & Plasmodium knowlesi.
✅lts symptoms generally appear in 10-15 days after the bite of female mosquitoes.
✅Prime Minister Modi has been
among the 18 Global leaders who endorsed the Malaria Elimination roadmap of Asia Pacific Leaders
Malaria Alliance at the East Asia Summit held in Malaysia in 2015.
