Biofertilizers are the substance that contains microbes, which helps in promoting the growth of plants and trees by increasing the supply of essential nutrients to the plants. It comprises living organisms which include mycorrhizal fungi, blue-green algae, and bacteria.

ЁЯФ╣ Advantage:
1. Increase the nitrogen and phosphorus available to plants.
2. Simple to use, even for novice small growers.
3. Do not pollute the soil or the environment.
4. Cheap, easy-to-use alternative to manufactured petrochemical products.
5. Restore normal fertility to the soil and make it biologically alive.
6. Can increase yield by up to 30%

ЁЯФ╣ Disadvantage:
1. Low shell life.
2. Can be contaminated easlity by other micro-organism.
3. Must contain adequate nutrients for biofertilizer organisms to thrive and work.
4. Complement other fertilizer but can't replace them.
5. Excessive hot-dry climate & excessive acidic or alkaline hamper successful growth of the beneficial microorganisms.
