सर सैय्यद अहमद बिन मुताकी खान ।।

✍️ सर सैयद अहमद खान ने 1864 में अलीगढ़ की साइंटिफिक सोसाइटी की स्थापना की, जो इंग्लैंड की रॉयल सोसाइटी पर आधारित थी।

✍️ उन्होंने 1857 की क्रांति के दौरान अंग्रेजों का समर्थन किया और 1859 में मुसलमानों को विद्रोह के आरोपों से मुक्त करने के लिए असबाब-ए-बगावत-ए-हिंद (1857 के भारतीय विद्रोह के कारण) पुस्तिका प्रकाशित की।

✍️ उन्होंने कांग्रेस का विरोध करने के लिए कुछ हिंदू और मुस्लिम नेताओं जैसेकि बनारस के राजा शिव प्रसाद के समर्थन से “यूनाइटेड पैट्रियोटिक एसोसिएशन” की स्थापना की।

✍️ उन्होंने 1860 में किताब लिखी- द लॉयल मुहम्मडन्स ऑफ इंडिया नामक एक किताब लिखी थी।

✍️ 1878 में ये इम्पीरियल लेजिस्लेटिव काउंसिल के सदस्य बने थे। इनकी वफादारी के कारण 1888 में ब्रिटिश सरकार द्वारा इन्हे नाईटहुड की उपाधि दी गई थी। 

✍️ सर सैय्यद अहमद खान ने 1875 में अलीगढ़ में मोहम्मडन एंग्लो ओरिएंटल कॉलेज की स्थापना की।

Sir Syed Ahmed bin Muttaqi Khan

✍️ Sir Syed Ahmed Khan founded the Scientific Society of Aligarh in 1864 modelling it on the Royal Society of England. 

✍️ “Religion should be adaptable with time or else it would become fossilised.” Sir Syed ahmed Khan

✍️ He supported the British during the 1857 revolution and in 1859 published the booklet Asbab-i-Baghawat-i-Hind (The Causes of the Indian Revolt) to clear the Muslims of the charges of mutiny. 

✍️ He founded the “United Patriotic Association” with the support of some Hindu and Muslim leaders such as Raja Sheo Prasad of Banaras to oppose the Congress.

✍️ He wrote the book in 1860 – The Loyal Muhammadans of India.

✍️ In 1878 he became a member of the Imperial Legislative Council. His loyalty earned him a Knighthood title in 1888.

✍️ Sir Syed Ahmed Khan established the Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College at Aligarh in 1875.
