✍️ गियासुद्दीन तुगलक दिल्ली सल्तनत का प्रथम सुल्तान था जिसने 'गाज़ी' की उपाधि ली थी।

✍️ फिरोज तुगलक का शासनकाल भारत में सबसे ज्यादा नहरों के निर्माण के कारण प्रसिद्ध रहा है। फिरोज तुगलक ने ब्राह्मणों पर भी जजिया कर लगाया था। फिरोज शाह तुगलक द्वारा अशोक के दो स्तंभों को मेरठ एवं टोपरा से दिल्ली लाया गया था। 

✍️ फिरोजशाह तुगलक ने आदेश दिया कि उसके शासनकाल में भविष्य में होने वाले समारोह 21 दिन ही चलेंगे।

✍️ फिरोज अपनी आत्मकथा में बताता है कि उसने शासन के प्रथम 6 वर्षो में मिस्त्र के खलीफा से दो बार सुल्तान पद की स्वीकृति ली। 

✍ वह दिल्ली सल्तनत का पहला सुल्तान था जिसने स्वयं को खलिफा का नायब कहा। सीरत-ए-फिरोजशाही का लेखक बताता है फिरोज को क्रमश: ‘अमीरुल मोमिनीन’ मोहम्मद अबू बक्र मुतवक्किल-ए-अल्लाह से ‘मानाभिषेक पत्र’ प्राप्त हुआ था । उसे पहला मन्शूर ईद के दिन 17 दिसम्बर 1355 ई. को प्राप्त हुआ था। 

✍️ संतो की मजारों पर मुस्लिम स्त्रियों के जाने को रोक लगा दिया ताकि महिलाएं लोगों की कामुक नजरों से बची रहे। 

✍️ जजिया को पृथक कर बनाया और उसे ब्राहृाणों पर भी लगाया जिससे अभी तक वह मुक्त थे। उसने एक ब्राहृाण को जिन्दा जलवा दिया था। 

✍️ महल के सुन्दर भित्ति-चित्रों को मिटवा दिया क्योंकि इस्लाम में इसकी मनाही थी। भोजन हेतु सोने एवं चांदी के वर्तनों की मनाही कर दी। उसने शुद्ध रेशमी या जरीदार वस्त्रों एवं मानव आकृतियों के चित्र बने हुए वस्त्रों पर रोक लगा दी।

✍️ The reign of Firoz Tughlaq has been famous for the construction of the largest number of canals in India. Firoz Tughlaq imposed Jizya tax on Brahmins also. Two pillars of Ashoka were brought from Meerut and Topra to Delhi by Firoz Shah Tughlaq.

✍️ Ferozeshah Tughlaq ordered that ceremonies to be held future in will run for 21 days only under his reign.

✍️ Feroz states in his autobiography that he twice awarded the position of Sultan by the Khalifa of Egypt in the first 6 years of his rule.

✍️ He was the first Sultan of Delhi Sultanate to call himself the Nayab of the Khalifa. The author of Sīrat-e-Firozshahi states that Feroz received ‘Manabhishek Patra’ from ‘Amirul Mominin’ Mohammad and Abu Bakr Mutavakkil-e-Allah respectively. He got his first Mansoor on 17 December 1355 AD on the day of Eid.

✍️ Restricted the entry of Muslim women to the shrines of the saints so that the women remain protected from the erotic eyes of the people.

✍️ Strictly imposed Jaziya and also imposed this on the Brahmins as well, so far brahmins were free from this tax. He once burnt alive a Brahmin.

✍️ Eliminated the beautiful murals of the palace as it was forbidden in Islam. Gold and silver utensils were forbidden for food. He banned pure silk or brocade garments and clothes which bore of human images.
