Marxist Propgandists have shown Vaishnava Acharyas and Sants as some Reformists who tried to dilute the Brahmanical and Vedic Hinduism.
Vedas are the root if Hinduism, and the Sole Duty of Preaching Vedas is only to Brahmanas, it is not a right, it is a Duty which has been laid upon them by Paramatma itself and they're supposed to learn and teach Vedas since birth.
Vaishnava Acharyas like Ramanuja are considered to be the ones to start the Bhakti Movement.
It is definitely true that Ramanujacharya revived and popularized Bhakti again among the masses. But he has not opposed anything of the Vedas. Pashubali has not been opposed, He did not allow Shudras to read Vedas, and what he did was He showed how Shastras are not granting Moksha only to Brahmanas, which was the previous misconception.
Entry into temples which did not violate Vedic Norms was popularized and promoted.
Inclusiveness is the Nature of Bhakti. And it included giving Mantras to all castes and even Mlechhas are eligible to worship Bhagavan. There is no stopping Anyone.
Moksha through Jnanamarga is only open to Brahmanas, but Moksha through Vaishnava Pancharatra Shastras, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavata Purana etc is Universal. Books where written to explain the crux of thr Upanishads and the Secrets of the Upanishads where elaborated within them withou quoting the Vedas hence making them Universally accessible.
Bhagavata-Shreshthas like Suradasa ji Tulasidasaji Ashtachhapa Bhakta Kavis of Vallabha Pushti Bhakti, Hita Harivamsha ji, Alwar Sants, Annamacharya, Ramadasu ji, Nrisimha Mehta ji, Tukarama ji, Ravidasa ji etc wrote the Essence of Bhakti, the Crux of all Vedas and Vedantic Philosophical concepts in Local languages and made Brahma-jnana easily accessible by All.
Bhakti they proved is the main intent of Upanishads, its not Jnana not Karma, it is how рднाрдЧрд╡рдд says рдЬ्рдЮाрдирд╡ैрд░ाрдЧ्рдпрдпुрдХ्рддрдпा рд╢्рд░ुрддिрдЧृрд╣ीрддрдпा рднрдХ्рдд्рдпा (while using рд╕рд╣рдпुрдХ्рддेрдк्рд░рдзाрдиे рдЕрдк्рд░рдзाрдирддृрддीрдпा) such Bhakti known through Shruti, where Jnana and Vairagya are Parts
Will give Biggest fruit which is рднрдЧрд╡рдд्-рд╕ाрдХ्рд╖ाрдд्рдХाрд░ (appearance of Hari).
They did not make any reforms or ammendments in Vedas. They revived the Bhakti Which had becomes less popular. And where people where being deluded by delusional philosophies spread in the name of Jnanamarga, Acharyas like Vallabhacharya enlightened the world by Showing the Real Jnana-marga of the True Sankhya-yoga (jnana-yoga) expounded by Maharshi Kapiladeva.
It was Marxists who started using Bhakti Sants and show them as Anti-Vedas, or such people who made changes or ammendments in Vedas. Their purpose was to crrate divide in minds of Hindus and misguide them from Vedic Dharma and teach them Avedic Liberalism in the name of Bhakti.
Kabridasji was never secular. Tulasidasji was completely Brahmanical even though he showed Rama hugging the Nishada. Surdasji wrote how Rama ate the eaten fruits of Shabari, still their was no intent to Seculaize or Liberalize or Reform Dharma.
Reform means the idea that Vedic Dharma was of oldage. Now new rules should come. And hence they spread lies about Dharma to be flexible and Smritis to undergo changes. "Change" itself is Marxist Propoganda. Kabirdasji was student of Ramanandacharya and never said those secular things. All these verses are added later.
Beware of Marxist Propoganda fed to you in the name of Bhakti Movement. Bhakti Movement did happen but was not Reformist and Anti-Brahmanical. It was definitely All-Inclusive. and even the lower class Sants like Tukaramji Ravidasji have written about how Vedic Dharma is only True and Brahmanas are hailed by each! Bhakti is Hailed by the Vedas to be the Only way to reach the Highest Gati. Then why show it as Anti-Vedic/Reformist? Bhakti out of 3 ways to Reach Bhagavan is the Highest way.
