The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) plans to set up an investment clearance cell for applying for licences and incentives given by both central and state governments.
The government will set up a pan-India single-window clearance system for entrepreneurs to provide pre-investment advisory and information related to land banks besides facilitating clearances as it eyes higher investments and ease of doing business in India.
An Investment Clearance Cell will be set up to provide “end to end” facilitation.
Cell will work through a portal.
