▪️ Recently Maldives rejoined it. It operates by intergovernmental consensus of the member states. 

▪️It was established in 1949 by the London Declaration.

▪️Queen Elizabeth II is the Head of the Commonwealth.

▪️The commonwealth game is a multisport event held every 4 year.

▪️The first Commonwealth Games were held in the city of Hamilton in Canada in 1930.

▪️Twenty first Commonwealth Games was held in 2018 in the "Gold Coast", Australia.

▪️The twenty second Commonwealth Games will held in 2022 in Birmingham, England. 

▪️ India has hosted the Commonwealth Games for the first time in Delhi in 2010.
