▪️ Located at Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan

▪️ Ranthambore National Park is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River.

▪️ It is named after the historic Ranthambore fortress, which lies within the park.

▪️ Famous for Bengal Tigers

▪️ Ranthambore National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the protection of "Project Tiger".

▪️ It got the status of a National Park in 1981.
Three big lakes – Padam Talab (meaning Lake), Malik Talab and Raj Bagh – are similar turquoises studded in the vast forest that abounds with aquatic vegetation including duckweeds, lilies and lotus.
