Passage of Varna - Through Samskaras or Genetics? ( वर्ण व्यवस्था )

"How does Varna flow in Lineage? I Will answer the last time and debunk all the neo wannabe Trads. This concept which I speak of is a Universally accepted one and is unquestioned by any traditional school.

Jati means that which percieved through Aakriti, like Treeness (jati) in trees can be percieved through Akriti (figure of tree like branches leaves etc). But Brahmanas and Shudras have same External Aakriti, so in a group of humans we can't determine who's brahmana and who isn't. The internal characteristics can be Genes, blood, Dna etc if are to be considered Aakriti in case of Brahmanhood or Kshatriyahood, Still there is no guarantee that all these even though are present in a body, would 100% determine Varna.

Note= I dont deny common genetics and bloodline to be found in Same Varnas but i deny that they can be used as valid parameters to determine Varna or the flow of Varna to the next generation. Different methods according to different Yugas determine Varna, and its flow and its only the Shaastras which decide. It defies all logic.

The reason is simple, there is ban on Intervarna marriages today, but in Previous Yugas Brahmanas did marry a lower Varna woman 2nd or 3rd time. When it was allowed, the progeny obtained the paternal Varna. Now there is Bloodmixing and Genemixing as well, but he got the Varna of Father. And was eligible for Shraaddhas (ancestral rites) also. Now let's see if a Brahmana born of Pure Brahmana Parents with no intermixing in Clan, will he obtain Brahmanhood at birth for guarantee? Not necessarily.

If the parent has not had an Upanayana (janeu), then the Son would be a Vraatya. If such Upanayana stops till more than 6-7 generations in Lineage, than the Progeny would be Shudra. Manu 10.43 shows how Kshatriya families due to lack of rituals became Shudras in due course of time.

Today, all kinds of Intervarna are banned, and if you say the reason is Genes etc, why where they allowed previously? Varna passes down only through Samskaras. Hence its proved Varna isn't a physical quality nor can it be determined through anything like Genes or Dna. The flow of Varna is through Unbroken Samskaras in a Lineage. If I do not undergoe Upanayana at time, and do not have Prayashchitta, my son won't inherit Brahmanhood at birth. The Garbhadhana also is a Samskara which depends on the Parents' Samskaras. And through these Samskaras the born child can be considered as a Brahmana.

You can ask me Why Lineage is Important, but not Bloodline. Because Lineage just means Parampara, an Unbroken Chain. Lineage hence doesnt qualify as Bloodline. Unbroken Chain of what? = Samskaras. भागवत 7.11.13 says संस्कारा यदविच्छिन्ना स द्विजः (where Samskaras are unbroken, he is a Dvija). So birth is indeed important, but in such a family, where all generations have undergone Upanayana/Janeu. Even if one generation has not done Janeu, the child will be born a Vraatya (Potential Brahmana). Even Janma requires Garbhadhana Samskara. Mating too has proper procedure to follow.

Aapastamba hence says अथयस्य प्रापितामह आदि नानुस्मार्यत।
उपनयनम् ते शमशानसमस्तुताः।। "And those who's ancestors' intiation/janeu is not conducted, those offsprings are equivalent to graveyards" . Bhagavata Purana says that Uninitiated Dvijas or Dvijabandhus cannot even Hear Vedas = स्त्रीशूद्रद्विजबन्धूनां त्रयी न श्रुतिगोचरा, Skanda Purana says जन्मना जायते शूद्रः = Everyone is born equivalent to a Shudra (ie unauthorized in Vedas). This proves Birth has no Purity, Purity is only through Samskaras.

Gautama gave birth to a Shudra, whom he converted to a Brahmana by his Tapas, and his Clan is the Gautama Gotra of Brahmanas, having blood and genes of a Shudra. In Mahabharata, Brahmanas have said to have Niyoga with Kshatriya women and produce Kshatriyas, these should ideally be Sankaras due to mixture, but are not. They get Kshatriya and Brahmana both genes/blood still are Pure Kshatriyas. As Varna isn't Phsyical or obtained through Physical Means but Divine Samskaras. संस्काराद् द्विज उच्यते (Skanda Purana, Atri

. The Sons of Vishvamitra should be Kshatriya by this Gene Theory because they don't have the Brahmana Genes now.

If you emphasize so much over Genes Blood or DNA, you're making a fool of yourself. This is Pseudo-science as the Old Darwinian Model has long been rejected. This is Epic eg of Raitahood, similar to what dimwits speak of Radiations in Mandir Bells, Downward flow in Period Blood and what not. I dont deny Biological Benefits of not marrying in Same Gotra or having similar occupation and similar Genes and similar bloodline. What I explain is that these Physical Traits aren't a Parameter to Determine Varna. Because there are many Shaastriya Methods to have a different bloodline still inherit Varna in previous Yugas.

The reason why today Intervarna marriage is denied isn't due to Physical Gene Maintainance or maintaining Bloodline, it is the imbalance of Gunas (Sattva rajas tamas) which will take place if you intermarry and produce. Such imbalance could be avoided in Previous Yugas due to Tapas of Brahmanas. Today they dont have such Tapas and powers, so imbalance in Non-physical Gunas would create progeny with mixed Gunas. Such imbalance of Gunas would prevent Varna to flow in future Generations and make you Unauthorized for Upanayana.

In this Video Acharya clearly says if Yajnopavita not done or done after time limit, 'शास्त्रीय परम्परा के अनुसार उसे ब्राह्मण क्षत्रिय वैश्य नहीं कह सकते'
We cannot call him a Brahmana Kshatriya Vaishya.

Bloodline or no Bloodline, the point is not about bloodline importance here. Main question is "Can Bloodline Determine Varna"? No. Because even with bloodline he is not Brahmana without lineage of Samskaras in Paternal Ancestry.

He shared Raghavacharya ji's video talking रक्तशुद्बि  but that was from a video where His Holiness is Generalizing रोटी बचाओ और खून बचाओ, and explaining to mass in simple language. Even taking Daan from some adharmi would mean inheriting his Gunas and Karmas, so is taking food or blood from unauthorized guy, impurity still isn't physical but abt imbalance in Gunas.

Still I haven't denied same bloodline in Varnas and also can be said to not do intermarriage. But pt is can blood determine Varna? No
