● It is a public-private initiative to protect tropical forests.
● It intends to mobilize at least USD 1 billion in financing to finance countries committed to protecting their tropical forests.
● The coalition is a collective work of the governments of the USA, United Kingdom and Norway
● The results-based financing model will be used in LEAF.
